TK1035 Pumptester CRS
Testing CR pumps on top of universal pump testing benches has been standard since the day Common Rail System arrived to our roads.
However this approach brought many obstacles along with itself.
First of all, the filtrations of the many universal pump-testing benches were not up to Common Rail Testing standards, and this is causing contamination problem while testing.
Many cases ended up with worse pump problems after testing than before due to the fact that the pumps were fed with metal dust and particles during test due to insufficient
filtration in their test benches.
Secondly, the drive motor power is usually not generating enough torque to keep rotating the pump at a stable angular speed with changing rail pressure or inlet supply settings.
As a result, universal test bench affects the test precision.
Third and last factor is the set up time loss and its limitations. As the universal test benches were designed to test mechanical pumps of older generations,
the auxiliary needs of Common Rail Pump testing is not very well met.
Feed supply regulations, pressure regulations at the return lines and many other specifications required for testing Common Rail Pumps could not be met with such add on
systems to universal pump testing benches.
Maktest, therefore has decided to develop a complete test equipment, with necessary auxiliary systems and computer control to be as flexible as possible to address
the testing needs of the future coming systems.
TK1035 Pumptester CRS will have 20 HP direct-drive electronic speed control to maintain pump speed within 1 rpm accuracy at all conditions.
All testing will be automatic without interruption and total testing time will be less than 10 min including set up time.
